Softball star signs with St. Bonaventure
On February 7, JC softball star Annabel Burke made her college choice official! Surrounded by family, friends, teammates, and staff, Annabel signed her National Letter of Intent with St. Bonaventure University and looks forward to being a member of the women's softball team and majoring in health sciences and nursing.
Annabel has played softball for JC since 7th grade and became a member of the varsity team in 9th grade. Her softball accomplishments include going to Sectionals in 8th and 9th grade, being named MVP of the varsity team, and receiving the Wildcat Award. In addition to softball, she is also a member of the girls varsity basketball and volleyball teams.
Off the field, Annabel is a member of the Johnson City chapter of the National Honor Society, Athletes 2 Athletes, Spirit Club, the Spanish Club and has a GPA of 96.7.
