JCHS student-athletes participate in Section IV Leadership Conference

Johnson City Student-Athlete Advisory Council student members Antonia Monico, Ava Ferline, Alyssa Kelleher, Makenzie Lombardini, Aliya Hankey, Keon Saintilein and Kalil Robinson attended the Section IV Student-Athlete Leadership Conference yesterday at the Binghamton Forum. They were among approximately 150 students to listen to keynote speaker Dave Archer talk about team-building and leadership skills. Award-winning actor Aaron Lazar was also on hand to talk about perseverance, health and hope.

The event also included several table-talk presentations conducted by students. Ava Ferline conducted a presentation on performance pressure, Antonia Monico presented on Narcan training, and Alyssa Kelleher presented on mental health and suicide prevention.
