On November 5, the Johnson City Board of Education recognized JC alumnus Adam Comfort (Class of 2001) for his support and generous donations to the district. Superintendent Race and President Matyas thanked Adam for his contributions over the past ten years to the district, which have included the Annual Homecoming Fireworks display, A2A, and the Johnson City Varsity Club Golf Tournament.
