On February 4, The Broome County Sheriff's Office welcomed senior Emma McCaffery as its newest student placement in partnership with BOCES New Visions Law & Government Academy.
Over the next several weeks, Emma will get the chance to ride along with BCSO Road Patrol, join members of the Warrant Division as they track down fugitives, spend time with officers in the Correctional Facility and much more as she learns about the many career opportunities available at the Broome County Sheriff's Office.
She kicked off her placement on the road answering calls with Deputy Kevin Pattwell.
