On February 13, Athletes 2 Athletes (A2A) advisors Joe Schieve and Matt Zelesnikar received the Community Service Award at the New York State Athletic Administrator Association's Chapter IV Awards Luncheon. Mr. Schieve and Mr. Zelesnikar were recognized for their many years overseeing A2A. Since 2011, the JCHS student-run organization has raised $100,000 through its annual charity staff basketball game to benefit local charities.
