Members of the Johnson City Police Department recently joined children from the Johnson City School District for the fifth annual “Shop With a Cop” event at Walmart.
Students who may not have received presents this year were handed $200 gift card to pick out gifts.
Community Engagement Officer Jay Peets told 12 News it is one of the best things that the department does all year.
