JCHS Ag Gardens preparing for fall harvest

A group of JC staff, students and community members recently gathered to do some weeding and planting at the JCHS Agriculture Gardens. According to Agriculture Club advisor Andrea Micha, the strawberry plants are getting fruit again with the cooler weather, the squash is growing, and the carrots are avoiding being dinner for the resident woodchucks and rabbits! The group also planted spinach next to the kale and many herbs for a fall harvest. Our Agriculture Club students will harvest the produce for the Wildcat Food and Clothing Center soon. We thank everyone for their hard work!
